Waste water cannot leave the dishwasher because the drain hose is blocked, kinked, or the siphon connection is still sealed.

1. Check the drain hose behind the machine for kinks and straighten it.
2. Clean the drain filter and make sure the siphon or disposal connection is clear.
3. On a new install, make sure the sink drain knockout plug was removed.
4. Restart the cycle; if E24 remains, contact authorized Gaggenau service.
