The food temperature probe (meat thermometer) is short-circuited or not inserted into its socket correctly.

1. Remove the food probe and inspect the plug and socket.
2. Insert the probe fully until it seats correctly.
3. If you are not using the probe, make sure nothing is left in the socket.
