i30
Water Leak Detected
Description
AEG lists i30 (or 3 beeps on models without a display) as a water leak: the anti-flood protection has detected water in the base of the appliance, and the drain pump runs continuously. AEG names excess foam, a blocked spray arm or large items deflecting water, and a real internal leak as the possible causes. The code is often searched for as "error 30".

Additional Troubleshooting
1. Close the water tap.
2. Check that the dishwasher is installed correctly and level, and that the baskets are loaded as the manual shows — large items such as oven trays must not stop the spray arms turning.
3. Clean the filters, spray arms and sump, and check the door gasket for damage or dirt.
4. Disconnect the dishwasher from the power and leave it off overnight with the water tap still closed, so the base can dry.
5. Reconnect the power, reopen the tap and run a programme. If i30 returns, close the tap and contact AEG to arrange a repair.
