Falkland Islands (Malvinas)

Description

The Falkland Islands (Malvinas) are a British Overseas Territory in the South Atlantic Ocean, consisting of two main islands and numerous smaller ones. Its capital and only town is Stanley, home to the great majority of the archipelago's small population. Sovereignty over the islands is disputed between the United Kingdom, which administers them, and Argentina, which refers to them as the Malvinas. The ISO 3166-1 codes for the Falkland Islands (alpha-2 FK, alpha-3 FLK, numeric 238) are used in postal, banking, and internet domain systems.
