Description

Samsung does not list E-06 in its published oven error codes. The documented Samsung oven codes are the C-xx family (C-d0, C-20, C-F1 and so on), S-01 and the door codes dC/dE — an E-06 on the display is therefore either a code specific to one regional model line, or a C/S code misread on a dim or partly failed display. Anyone telling you exactly what E-06 means is guessing, and so would we be.

What actually helps, in order: 1. Read the display again in the dark, straight on. A failed segment turns C into E and 0 into 6 more often than you would expect — if the code is really C-06 or C-d0, the documented pages for those apply. 2. Cut power at the breaker for 5 minutes, then restore it. This clears a one-off controller fault and is the only "reset" a Samsung oven has. 3. If the code returns, find the model number on the door frame sticker and look it up in the manual for that exact model — regional lines carry codes that are not in the global list. 4. Contact Samsung support with the model number and a photo of the display. Do not order a control board on the strength of an internet guess: the same symptom is caused by a temperature sensor, the door lock assembly or wiring, and the board is the most expensive part to be wrong about.
