E24
Drain Blocked
Description
E:24 means the dishwasher cannot pump out the waste water. Neff's manuals give three causes for it: the waste-water hose is kinked or blocked, the siphon connection is still sealed, or the filters are blocked. Bosch, which makes Neff dishwashers, adds a loose waste-water pump cover.

Additional Troubleshooting
1. Switch the dishwasher off.
2. Clean the filters and the area underneath them.
3. Check that the waste-water hose has no kinks and remove any residue from it.
4. On a new installation, check the siphon connection: the sealing cap on the sink trap spigot must be removed or opened.
5. Check that the cover of the waste-water pump under the filters is locked in place, as the manual shows.
6. If the drain hose goes into a waste disposer, make sure its plug has been removed. If E:24 remains, contact Neff customer service.
