Leak Detected / Anti-Flood Device Activated

1. If you have used too much detergent, switch the machine off and let it stand for a few hours until the foam settles, then try again with less detergent.
2. Clean the dispenser drawer and the sprinkler plate above it as described in your user manual, then try again.
3. Look for laundry caught in the door seal. Unplug the machine and close the water tap, then lay a towel on the floor behind the machine. Tilt the machine backwards until the front kickboard is about 10–15 cm off the floor, and hold it there for 30–40 seconds so the water in the bottom tray runs out onto the towel. Lower it, reconnect it, check that the filters in the inlet hose and the water valve are clean, and start a wash.
4. Switch off and unplug the machine and let any hot water cool. Put a shallow tray under the fluff filter and turn the filter slowly to let the water out, emptying the tray as it fills. Then remove the filter, clean it and check it for damage. If it is intact, screw it back in firmly by hand.
5. Check the water supply hose connections at the tap and at the machine for leaks. If the hose was leaking, tilt the machine as in the step above so that it can start again.
6. Open the door and check the door seal for damage, cracks or holes. If the seal is damaged, do not use the machine: turn off the water supply and have the seal replaced by a service engineer.
7. If EF0 comes back after these checks, or you cannot find where the water is coming from, unplug the machine, close the water tap and call an authorised service centre.
